Job description
We are seeking a highly skilled SEO Manager. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving traffic, generating leads, and improving conversion rates through innovative and data-driven marketing strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
Establish repeatable best practices for launching new dietary supplement products highlighting specific nutrient health benefits through a clear checklist of SEO tactics designed to bring “sales success” from manufacturer product delivery to content asset creation & release on the website, as well as Amazon marketplace, social media, influencers, email campaigns, etc.
Focusing on measurable outcomes & targeting improvement iterations based on the most successful tactics, platforms and content styles.
Help define KPIs for tracking SEO success, not only in terms of traffic, impressions or clicks, but also in terms of “sales conversions”.
Help customize a specific SEO checklist which details repeatable tasks which would best serve the company’s specific needs for better ranking original and highly authoritative content.
Implement high-success strategies to move the needle on Google ranking for “high intent” buy pages using the best “buy intent” keywords for each product, targeting “high buy intent” users.
Create and implement a plan for blog and page content consolidation & optimized keyword mappings across duplicate content that exists on the website (to stop any existing or further cannibalization that is negatively affecting Google ranking scores).
Implement duplicate URL clean up from artifactual canonicalization that’s likely going awry with recent Google updates.
Implement iterative changes on high “buy intent” pages (product pages) using the best “buy intent” keywords to rank them.
Build and implement strategies to get the “high buy intent” product pages to rank organically as #1 on Google (as well as other search engines).
Implement A/B testing to determine what iterative changes on Product pages increase conversions.
Keen understanding of the recent Google update with the new AI Overview feature and other updates impacting ranking and click-through rates - and how to employ tactics to “get back” traffic that’s been obscured by some of these changes.
Fresh ideas for how we can not only win under Google, but diversify our traffic and conversion options through other channels (such that when one channel changes or makes an update, we’re not stuck high and dry without a steady flow of sales).
Leverage Google & SEO Tools (GA4, GTM, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMRush, SEOSurfer, etc.): Monitor and analyze SEO performance using analytics tools. Provide insights and recommendations to enhance user experience and achieve business objectives/KPIs.
Website Management: Oversee website content updates and improvements, ensuring a seamless user experience and alignment with SEO best practices.
Performance Reporting: Define and leverage reports on the performance of inbound marketing campaigns. Use data to refine strategies and improve overall effectiveness.
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
