Freelance Video Effects Editor (Basic VFX / AI Effects)

We are looking for a freelance video editor who can apply existing visual effects to video footage and generate clear before-and-after versions of each clip. The role focuses on applying preset effects or AI-based effects rather than creating complex visual effects from scratch. 

Responsibilities 

● Apply existing visual effects, presets, or AI-generated effects to video footage

● Produce two versions of each clip: original (before) and effect-applied (after)

● Ensure effects are applied consistently across multiple clips 

● Export videos in required formats and resolutions 

● Organize output files clearly with structured naming and folders 

Requirements 

● Experience with video editing or visual effects tools such as: 

○ Adobe After Effects 

○ Adobe Premiere Pro 

○ DaVinci Resolve 

○ or similar video editing tools 

● Familiarity with AI-based video editing or visual effects tools 

● Ability to apply standard effects such as filters, lighting adjustments, compositing elements, or motion effects 

● Basic understanding of video timelines, rendering, and formats 

● Ability to process batches of clips efficiently 

Preferred Qualifications 

● Experience working with film or professional video footage 

● Experience using AI tools for video effects or enhancement 

● Ability to process large volumes of clips while maintaining consistency Deliverables 

For each assigned clip, the freelancer should deliver: 

● Original video (unchanged) 

● Video with applied effect 

● Clearly labeled files indicating before and after versions
